Goat Ornament Painting & Nature Walk with the Goat Herd

Join us for a festive, hands-on holiday experience at Jaybird Hammock Farm!

Each guest will paint their own Goat Christmas Ornament, with all painting materials provided. A wooden ornament is included in the ticket price—perfect for adding a little farm charm to your tree.

While your masterpiece dries, we’ll head out on a Nature Walk with the Goat Herd, exploring the pines alongside our curious, friendly goats. It’s a relaxed, creative, family-friendly outing that blends art, nature, and a little goat mischief.

🎄 Christmas Tree Drop-Off at Jaybird Hammock Farm

“Turn your Christmas tree into a treat for the herd.”

We are accepting natural Christmas Tree donations after the holiday season! If your tree is coming down, consider giving it a second life at the farm.

Tree Requirements:

Natural trees only
No tinsel, ornaments, hooks, fake snow, or flocking
Completely undecorated (“naked trees”)

Our goat herd loves browsing fresh pine — it’s one of their favorite enrichments of the year. Your donated tree becomes:

🌲 Goat Enrichment: a fun winter snack that encourages natural browsing behavior.
🌿 A Seasonal Treat: they enjoy the needles, the bark, and the novelty.
🔥 Farm Use: after the goats finish with it, we cut up the remaining trunk for firewood at the farm.

Try stand-up paddleboard yoga on our calm pond, combining balance and mindfulness on the water. Finally, relax with our sound bath meditations, where the soothing sounds of nature and harmonic frequencies guide you to deep relaxation and inner peace.

Jaybird Hammock Farm Events are Weather Dependent:

Florida weather is unpredictable, and weather-related cancellations at Jaybird Hammock Farm are never made lightly. We consider on-site conditions like standing water and setup timing when making these decisions—not forecasts alone. We know cancellations can disrupt your travel, hotel, or childcare plans, just as they impact our small farm’s revenue. We’ve experienced guest frustration when the call is made too early and the weather clears, and also when it’s made last-minute. There’s no perfect moment—but we always do our best to make a thoughtful, safety-based decision. Once a cancellation is made, it is final. Reschedule or refunds will be offered. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
